In October, The Standard at Charlottesville staff hosted a virtual paint night for our residents. Residents were invited to virtually attend through interactions with staff while out and about on our property, and via advertisements on social media. While we are adhering to CDC guidelines in relation to COVID-19, we still wanted to offer our residents the opportunity to interact, have fun, and take a break from their University of Virginia courses.
Our Resident Services Manager, Makaely, walked everyone through a step-by-step guide on creating a masterpiece and then we got to painting! We had such a great time, getting in the Halloween spirit, painting our pumpkin themed canvasses! We had such a great turn out for this virtual event, and all of us at The Standard Charlottesville love any opportunity we get to connect with our residents. We will be hosting another virtual painting event in the near future for Winter/Christmas. Be on the lookout to sign up!
